This park is undergoing a complete renovation that includes 50 AMP, & the addition of sewer and cable TV. One of the bath houses is new - heated & air conditioned. The other two are scheduled for a complete remodel. Most of the sites are pull-thru and several are very big rig friendly. The roads are paved and the sites are very level packed gravel. Each site has a fire ring and table. Each site has an elevated tent platform. The sites are wooded and many do not have satellite reception. The park is spotless clean and very natural. It is about a 20 minute drive to the Savannah waterfront. Laundry facilities are excellent. There are hiking and bicycle trails. The sites offer a lot of privacy. A very quiet and nice place to stay while visiting the Savannah area and all that it offers. We will definitely stay here again. Senior discounts are offered. You make your reservation and choose your site from those available upon your arrival. GA. State parks do not reserve a specific site. When the park renovations are complete in about 2 months I would rate this park a 10.
