It's too bad that the rating system only goes down to "1". I could have used a large negative number for this one. It's a dump. Upon entering this tight RV park filled with lots of beat up full-time trailers you have to negotiate a series of large diagonal speed bumps that toss your coach from side to side. You couldn't drive a tank over these easily let alone a motorhome. You are then informed that they charge extra for kids because they use hot water too. In the next breath they tell you "sorry, but the hot water heater is broken and the showers and laundry are closed". Then you have to try to wiggle your class A into the tightest campsite I've ever seen. Naturally, the sprinkler has been running forever and the grass next to the coach is like mush and the sprinkler is shooting all over our exit door which makes it a challenge to get out and find help. At night our dog barks because he hear's someone, then car alarms go off. The next morning as we try to navigate out of the campground I was beginning to think I'd have to disassemble the 40' coach to get it around the tight curves and in between the overgrown trees. Once we get out of the park we notice that the street is cordoned off to our left so we have to try to find a way out of town the other way to get up to I-90. Later we learn the reason it was closed off is because a murder occured there early in the AM. Would we stay there again? Not if my life depended upon it (and in that place it just might).

I had trouble finding this place in the books because it had changed names three times. Formerly the Yogi Bear Resort this seemed to be more of a members type campground. It was not very big rig friendly and maneuvering our 40' motorhome doen the roads and into the site was a challenge. Lots of huge overhanging shade trees really needed pruning. We'll skip Spokane altogether next time.
